Who is responsible

rahuldsarker.co is run by Rahul D Sarker, based in Kolkata, India ("I", "me"). I decide how the personal data described here is used. Questions or requests go to hey@rahuldsarker.co.

What you give me

Booking a call: your name, email, phone number, company, what you'd like to discuss, your timezone and the time you pick.

Contact and enquiry forms: your name, email, phone number, company and message.

Diagnostic scores: your answers and score, plus your name, email and phone number if you ask for the full results.

Newsletter: your name, email address and phone number. The phone number stays with me and is not shared with the email service that sends the newsletter.

MCP setup instructions: your name, email and phone number.

Why a phone number: every form asks for one so I can reach you about your enquiry, results or call, for example if the video link fails.

Calculators: the numbers you enter stay in your browser and are not sent to me.

What is collected automatically

Always, without cookies: the site's own analytics record pages viewed, how long they were open and actively used and how far you scrolled, clicks on buttons and links (including repeated clicks, clicks that had no effect and page errors, to find broken parts of the site), form and tool use, the referring site or campaign, and your approximate location (country, region and city from your IP address), device, browser and language. Nothing is stored on your device. Your IP address is never stored: it is combined with your browser details and a secret that changes every day into an anonymous code, so visits can be counted and linked to a form you submit that day, but not followed across days or traced back to you. Vercel Analytics and Speed Insights also count visits and page speed without cookies, and the hosting provider keeps standard server logs, such as IP address and pages requested. When a calculator shows a benchmarked result, such as ROAS or monthly churn, after you change an input, that result (rounded), the calculator, the day and your country are also kept for the calculator benchmarks report, with none of your inputs and no identifier, so it cannot be linked to you.

Only if you accept cookies: Google Analytics and Google Ads record how the site is used and which ads brought you here: pages viewed, clicks, device and browser type, and approximate location from your IP address. Microsoft Clarity records anonymised sessions and heatmaps, with form inputs masked. Apollo and RB2B use your IP address and browser data to identify the company you work for and, where their data allows, your professional profile, such as your name and LinkedIn page; those details go into my CRM so I can follow up on relevant visits. The site's own analytics also keep a random journey code in your browser for 90 days, so visits on different days can be linked when working out which pages and campaigns lead to an enquiry; it is never combined with Google, Clarity, Apollo or RB2B data, and rejecting cookies deletes it.

How I use it

When you book a call, I also look at your company's public website (from your email address) and at how you found this site that day, so I can prepare. Before the call you'll get reminder emails 24 hours and 1 hour ahead.

If you claim a reward from the growth reward wheel, your name, work email, phone, company and chosen service are used to deliver the reward and follow up about it, under the reward wheel rules; unclaimed spins are deleted after 60 days.

To reply to you, schedule and run calls, send the newsletter you signed up for and the follow-up emails you ticked the box for after a calculator report (three emails over ten days, each with a link to stop them, and stopped automatically if you book a call), prepare for and deliver agreed work, understand which pages and campaigns are useful so I can improve them, and, if you accepted cookies, see which companies are visiting so I can reach out where it's relevant. I don't sell, rent or trade your personal data, and I don't use it for anything unrelated to the reason you gave it.

Who processes it for me

These services handle data on my behalf, each under its own privacy terms:

• Vercel: hosts the site; Vercel Analytics and Speed Insights measure visits and page speed without cookies.
• Neon: the database that stores call bookings, form submissions and the site's own analytics.
• Google (Gemini API): answers questions you type into the on-site assistant, using matching excerpts from this site. Google processes the question under its Gemini API terms. Don't type confidential information there.
• My email provider: sends and receives booking confirmations and form replies.
• Google: Tag Manager, Analytics and Ads conversion tracking; Google Calendar and Meet for booked calls; Search Console for search performance.
• Microsoft Clarity: usage recordings and heatmaps.
• Apollo and RB2B: company and visitor identification.
• Loomstrat CRM: my CRM, which receives visitor-identification data and enquiries.
• Brevo: the newsletter list, and reminder emails before a booked call.
• Discord: private notifications to me when a form is submitted or a call is booked.

Some of these providers store data outside India, including in the United States and the European Union.

Cookies and local storage

On your first visit a banner asks whether you accept cookies. Until you choose Accept, none of the tools marked "only if you accept" above load at all. If you accept, Google Analytics, Google Ads, Microsoft Clarity, Apollo and RB2B set cookies to tell visits apart, measure campaigns and identify visiting companies. You can change your choice at any time with Cookie settings in the site footer; rejecting clears their cookies. The choice is remembered for 12 months.

One functional cookie is always set, geo-routed, which remembers whether to show you the India or US version of the homepage. The site also stores a few things in your browser, and none of them are sent anywhere unless you choose to: your cookie choice, your chosen calculator currency, whether you've closed the AI-assistant popup or seen a page's "before you go" offer, results you save to "My growth plan", and, for the current tab only, your on-site assistant conversation and any numbers you hand to the booking form.

How long I keep it

Bookings and enquiries are kept while we're in touch and for as long as needed for any work that follows, then deleted. Newsletter subscribers stay on the list until they unsubscribe, which every issue lets you do in one click. Analytics providers keep usage data for their standard retention periods.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of the personal data I hold about you, ask me to correct or delete it, or withdraw consent you gave, such as for the newsletter or cookies. Email hey@rahuldsarker.co and I'll respond within 30 days. Depending on where you live, laws such as India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act or the EU and UK GDPR may give you further rights, including complaining to a data protection authority.

Changes

If this policy changes, the date at the top will change with it. See also the terms of service.
