HubSpot pricing confuses Indian buyers for two reasons. The headline price is per seat, but the tier you need is decided by features, not seats. And Professional and Enterprise come with a mandatory onboarding fee that is separate from anything a partner charges. Here is what is public, what drives the rest, and how to choose who implements it. If you are still choosing between HubSpot and Zoho, start with my comparison page instead.
Licence cost: official HubSpot Sales Hub prices
From HubSpot's official Sales Hub pricing page, checked on 5 October 2026. The page displayed prices in US dollars when I checked it, so your rupee price may differ by region and currency setting. Free: $0 for up to 2 users. Starter: $7 per seat per month billed annually, or $20 billed monthly. Professional: $90 per seat per month billed annually, or $100 monthly. Enterprise: $150 per seat per month. Professional and Enterprise carry a one-time onboarding fee of $1,500 and $3,500 respectively. Marketing Hub, Service Hub and the platform bundles are priced separately and Marketing Hub tiers also scale with marketing contacts. HubSpot changes pricing and packaging regularly, so check hubspot.com/pricing before you budget, and confirm GST treatment on your invoice.
The tier decision is a feature decision
Most implementation scope questions are really tier questions. Workflow automation, sequences at scale, custom reporting, required stage properties, multiple deal pipelines beyond the free allowance, and forecasting depth all sit in different tiers. Before you count seats, list what the CRM must do, such as automated lead routing, SLA alerts or quote approvals, and check each item against HubSpot's product and services catalog, which documents features and limits per tier. A scope written against Starter and then delivered in Professional, or the reverse, is the most common source of rework I see.
What HubSpot's onboarding fee covers, and what it does not
The mandatory onboarding fee pays for HubSpot-led or partner-led onboarding sessions to get your portal set up on the tier you bought. It is useful for product training and standard configuration. It does not replace the business work: defining lifecycle stages, writing your lead definition, designing pipelines, mapping and cleaning data from your old system, or building the reports your leadership will actually use. Some HubSpot Solutions Partners can deliver the onboarding as part of their own engagement, so ask any partner whether their quote includes or replaces HubSpot's fee.
Scope tiers that drive services cost
Tier 1, a standard setup: one pipeline, lifecycle stages, required properties, forms, lead assignment, email and calendar connection, a basic import, a sales dashboard and training. Tier 2, process and integrations: lead scoring, routing and SLA workflows, multiple pipelines, sequences, quote templates, migration from Zoho, Salesforce or spreadsheets with associations, and integrations with accounting, telephony or WhatsApp tools. Tier 3, custom: custom objects (Enterprise), custom-coded workflow actions, API integrations with your product or data warehouse, multi-brand or multi-currency setups, and attribution reporting. Each step up adds specification, testing and maintenance. I have not found a credible named public source for India-specific HubSpot implementation price ranges, so I give you the tiers rather than invented numbers.
Solutions partner vs independent consultant
HubSpot Solutions Partners are agencies in HubSpot's partner programme, listed in its public partner directory with tiers and reviews. Strengths: a team, certified specialists across hubs, and a direct relationship with HubSpot. Watch for: a junior team delivering after a senior sale, and incentives linked to licence upgrades. Independent consultants are individuals who implement directly. Strengths: the person who scopes is the person who builds, and usually more focus on the revenue process than the software. Watch for: capacity limits and single-person risk, so ask about documentation and handover. Whoever you choose, ask for named people, a written scope by tier, a line-item quote, and a handover document that includes your data dictionary and workflow list.
Costs people forget
Add these to the budget: extra seats as the team grows, Marketing Hub contact tier increases, HubSpot credits beyond the included allowance if you use AI or data features heavily, paid marketplace apps for integrations, your own team's time in workshops and testing, and an owner after go-live. HubSpot portals drift quickly when every manager can create properties and workflows. Decide who governs that before launch, not after the first broken report.
FAQ

HubSpot's pricing page lists a required one-time onboarding fee for Professional and Enterprise tiers. Some Solutions Partners can deliver onboarding within their engagement, so ask how their quote relates to HubSpot's fee.
Choose a partner when you need a multi-skilled team across several hubs. Choose an independent consultant when your bigger problem is revenue process design and you want the same senior person scoping and building. Either way, insist on a written scope and handover documentation.
