Short answer
LinkedIn Ads cost in India is set by auction, with a minimum daily budget of $10 per campaign (about ₹966). One vendor's 2025 B2B dataset puts LinkedIn's median CPC at $9.39 (about ₹907) and cost per lead at $202 (about ₹19,500). LinkedIn India charges 18% GST, recoverable with a GSTIN on the account.
How much do LinkedIn Ads cost in India?
LinkedIn Ads cost in India has no fixed price list. LinkedIn says costs depend on the activity you pay for and the ad auction, where your bid competes with other advertisers for the same audience. What is fixed is the minimum spend and the tax.
| Item | USD | INR equivalent | Source and context |
|---|---|---|---|
| Minimum daily budget | $10 | ₹966 a day (about ₹29,400 a month) | LinkedIn budget best practices, any ad format |
| Minimum lifetime budget | $100 | ₹9,661 | LinkedIn, for new inactive campaigns |
| Suggested daily budget, new advertisers | $25 | ₹2,415 | LinkedIn, for USD accounts |
| Suggested daily budget, existing advertisers | $50 to $100 | ₹4,831 to ₹9,661 | LinkedIn, for USD accounts |
| Median CPM | $63.19 | ₹6,105 | Metadata.io 2025 B2B data (vendor-published) |
| Median CPC | $9.39 | ₹907 | Same dataset |
| Median cost per lead | $202 | ₹19,516 | Same dataset, all campaign goals |
Two cautions about the benchmarks. They come from a vendor's customer base, mostly B2B software companies targeting global audiences, so treat them as directional. And they are global: targeting Indian decision-makers often costs less per click than targeting US buyers, while targeting senior roles in a narrow industry costs more. No public dataset breaks LinkedIn CPL down by seniority or company size for India, so this page does not invent one. Build your own from the first month of spend instead.
This page is about cost. If you are choosing who should run LinkedIn for you, see the LinkedIn ads agency for B2B SaaS guide, and for the service itself, LinkedIn Ads management.
How LinkedIn sets the price: objectives, bidding and audience
You pay for the billable event tied to your campaign objective, at a price set by the auction for your audience. The three levers are objective, bidding strategy and audience desirability.
From objective to what you are charged
- ObjectiveWebsite visits, lead generation, awareness, engagement or video views.
- Billable eventClick, 1,000 impressions, video view or message send, depending on objective and format.
- BiddingMaximum delivery, cost cap or manual bid.
- AuctionYour bid competes for the same audience; desirable audiences cost more.
LinkedIn describes it as objective-based pricing: 'Each campaign objective has a different billable event, and you're only charged when that event occurs', and whether you win depends on 'the bid and the desirability of your target audience' (LinkedIn: ads pricing). Its help page lists three bidding strategies, maximum delivery (automated), cost cap and manual bidding, and gives cost per click, cost per 1,000 impressions, cost per video view and cost per send as manual-bid examples (LinkedIn Help). The same page notes that a recommended default daily budget is only offered for USD and EUR accounts.
Audience size sets a floor on targeting: LinkedIn requires at least 300 members for an ad set and suggests a minimum of 300,000 for Sponsored Content and Sponsored Messaging (LinkedIn Help). Very narrow Indian audiences (one city, one job title, one industry) can be small enough to push prices up and delivery down.

LinkedIn Ads minimum budget in India
The technical minimum is $10 a day per campaign, about ₹29,400 a month at the FBIL rate. The practical minimum is the budget that produces enough leads to judge the channel, which for most B2B offers is several times higher.
LinkedIn states: 'The minimum daily budget amount required to start on LinkedIn is $10, for any ad format', and 'The minimum lifetime budget amount for new, inactive campaigns is $100'. It suggests $25 a day for new advertisers and $50 to $100 for existing advertisers using USD (LinkedIn: making the most of your budget).
At the minimum, ₹29,400 a month and a CPC near the ₹907 benchmark buys about 32 clicks. Even at LinkedIn's stated 13% Lead Gen Form conversion rate that is four leads, too few to tell a good audience from a bad one. A useful test budget is the one that produces enough leads per audience and offer to see conversion to qualified pipeline within one sales cycle. Use the calculator below to find it for your numbers, and the existing LinkedIn ad cost threshold calculator to check whether your contract value can carry the resulting acquisition cost.

Default ₹907 = Metadata.io 2025 median $9.39 at the FBIL rate. Use your own Campaign Manager data when you have it.
Clicks = budget ÷ CPC. Leads = clicks × conversion rate (Lead Gen Form fixed at 13%, LinkedIn's stated average; landing page rate is your input, default 5.9% from Metadata.io's 2025 LinkedIn click-to-lead median, vendor-published). SQLs = leads × lead-to-SQL rate; opportunities = SQLs × SQL-to-opportunity rate (illustrative defaults 25% and 40%; replace with CRM data). Cost per stage = budget ÷ count, plus 18% GST when no GSTIN is on the account (LinkedIn India GST FAQ). Minimum check: LinkedIn's $10 daily minimum × ₹96.6149 (FBIL, 9 October 2026) × 30.4 days per campaign. Not modelled: bank conversion charges on USD accounts, audience saturation, agency fees.
Defaults use a ₹907 CPC (the Metadata.io median converted at the FBIL rate) and LinkedIn's stated 13% Lead Gen Form conversion rate. Replace them with your own Campaign Manager data after the first two to four weeks. The SQL and opportunity rates must come from your CRM, which is why lead source tracking from LinkedIn into the CRM matters before you scale.
LinkedIn Ads cost per lead in India, and why cost per opportunity matters more
A ₹1,50,000 monthly budget at a ₹907 CPC buys about 165 clicks. With Lead Gen Forms at 13% that is about 21 leads at roughly ₹7,000 each; with a landing page converting at 5.9%, about 10 leads at roughly ₹15,400. The difference narrows further down the funnel.
| Route | Leads | Cost per lead | SQLs | Cost per SQL | Opportunities | Cost per opportunity |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Lead Gen Form (13%) | 21.5 | ₹6,977 | 5.4 | ₹27,908 | 2.15 | ₹69,769 |
| Landing page (5.9%) | 9.8 | ₹15,373 | 2.4 | ₹61,492 | 0.98 | ₹1,53,729 |
Cost per stage for the Lead Gen Form route (INR)
LinkedIn's guide says 'the average LinkedIn Lead Gen Form conversion rate is 13%', compared with an average landing page conversion rate of 4.02% (LinkedIn Marketing Blog). Pre-filled forms make leads cheaper and also easier to submit without intent, which is why stopping at cost per lead misleads. The comparison that matters is cost per opportunity, and that needs the CRM to record which leads came from which campaign and what happened to them. Any CRM can record this, but it must be set up before the spend: Zoho CRM alternatives and LeadSquared vs Zoho CRM cover the common Indian options. For India-wide context on lead costs across channels, see average cost per lead by industry in India and B2B funnel conversion benchmarks.
LinkedIn Ads GST and billing in India
Since 1 April 2026 LinkedIn sells to Indian businesses through LinkedIn India Sales Private Limited and charges 18% GST. Add your GSTIN in the ad account's billing information so the GST is recoverable.
- 15 Aug 2017GST at 18%
LinkedIn starts charging GST at 18% on its products and services in India.
- 1 Apr 2026India selling entity
LinkedIn begins selling through LinkedIn India Sales Private Limited, with e-invoices through the Invoice Registration Portal for B2B supplies.
- Until you repurchaseSingapore billing continues
Customers buying from LinkedIn Singapore Pte. Ltd. keep being billed by it until they repurchase.
LinkedIn's India GST FAQ says it charges GST at 18% on all products and services, that self-serve customers can enter a GST registration number in their billing information, and that without a valid GST number the supply is treated as made to a non-business customer, so the GST may not be recoverable as input credit. Customers in a Special Economic Zone with a valid SEZ GST number are charged 0% if LinkedIn can verify their status (LinkedIn Help: India GST FAQ). LinkedIn's Campaign Manager help adds that a tax registration number applies to future purchases only, not past receipts (LinkedIn Help: add a tax registration number).
On currency, LinkedIn's budget guidance and minimums are stated in US dollars, and its default daily budget feature is only available for USD and EUR accounts. If your account bills in dollars, card or bank conversion charges add to the rupee cost; agree the account currency before you start, because it is hard to change later.
Whether GST is recoverable depends on your registration, the LinkedIn entity that bills you and your eligibility for input tax credit. Confirm with your chartered accountant.
How to lower LinkedIn Ads cost without losing pipeline
Lower cost per opportunity comes from better audiences and offers, not lower bids alone. The levers are audience definition, offer strength, form design, frequency and feeding CRM outcomes back to LinkedIn.
- Target accounts, not just titles. Upload a company list built from your ICP; see the ABM playbook for B2B SaaS and the ICP and buyer persona template.
- Keep forms short. LinkedIn's guide recommends three to four fields at most; each extra free-text question lowers submissions.
- Retarget before prospecting cold. Website visitors and video viewers convert at lower cost than new audiences.
- Watch frequency. The ad frequency risk checker helps spot fatigue before costs rise.
- Send outcomes back. Track SQLs and opportunities in the CRM and use them to judge campaigns; LinkedIn's Conversions API lets you 'connect both your online and offline data to LinkedIn' (LinkedIn Help), so bidding can learn from qualified leads, and HubSpot lead scoring helps separate good leads from cheap ones.
- Name campaigns consistently. UTM discipline keeps LinkedIn leads attributable in GA4 and the CRM.

LinkedIn Ads cost India: common questions
What is the minimum budget for LinkedIn Ads in India?
LinkedIn's minimum daily budget is $10 per campaign for any ad format, and the minimum lifetime budget for a new campaign is $100. At the FBIL reference rate of ₹96.61 per dollar (9 October 2026) that is about ₹966 a day, or roughly ₹29,400 a month for one campaign running every day.
What is the LinkedIn CPC in India?
LinkedIn does not publish CPCs; they are set by auction for your audience. Metadata.io's 2025 B2B benchmarks put LinkedIn's median CPC at $9.39, about ₹907, across 138 mostly global advertisers. Indian audiences can cost less, senior and narrow audiences more; your Campaign Manager forecast is the best estimate.
What is the LinkedIn Ads cost per lead in India?
There is no reliable India-only benchmark. Metadata.io's 2025 data puts LinkedIn's median cost per lead at $202, about ₹19,500, for global B2B advertisers. With Lead Gen Forms converting at LinkedIn's stated 13% and a ₹907 CPC, cost per lead would be about ₹7,000; your own data will differ.
Does LinkedIn charge GST on ads in India?
Yes. LinkedIn's India GST FAQ says it charges GST at 18%. Since 1 April 2026 it sells through LinkedIn India Sales Private Limited. Add your GSTIN in billing information so the GST can be claimed as input tax credit; without it the supply is treated as non-business.
Can I pay for LinkedIn Ads in rupees?
LinkedIn's budget guidance and minimums are stated in US dollars, and its default daily budget feature works only for USD and EUR accounts. Check the currency options when you create the ad account, because the account currency is hard to change later, and factor bank conversion charges into the rupee cost if you bill in dollars.
How much should a B2B SaaS company in India spend on LinkedIn Ads?
Enough to produce several opportunities a month per audience you test, usually well above the technical minimum. For a ₹907 CPC and typical funnel rates, ₹1 to 2 lakh a month produces only a few opportunities, so test one audience and one offer at a time and judge on cost per opportunity.
Are LinkedIn Lead Gen Forms cheaper than landing pages?
Per lead, usually yes: LinkedIn says its Lead Gen Forms convert at 13% on average, against a 4.02% average landing page conversion rate it cites. Leads from pre-filled forms can qualify at lower rates, so compare cost per SQL and per opportunity, not cost per lead.
Why is LinkedIn more expensive than Meta or Google in India?
LinkedIn sells access to professional targeting by job title, seniority, company and industry, and many B2B advertisers compete for the same senior audiences. The higher click price pays off only when deal values are large enough; for lower-value offers, search and Meta are usually more efficient.
